George Kennedy, CPA - Senior Manager
George joined the GFC team in April, 2025. He previously worked in public accounting, where his practice focus was in services to state and local governments, and most recently in South Carolina state government as director of the State’s independent financial audit office.
As a senior manager, George oversees day-to-day engagement activities, managing the engagement team while participating in the completion of the work. He works closely with client staff to ensure the engagement runs efficiently and effectively.
A native of Ninety Six, George earned a degree in Accounting from Clemson University. He is married and has two adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities, including running, walking and projects around the house.
